Toby picked up our very first BBQ since being married, several weeks back, he’s already given it a spin and likes it. Got a deal second hand, came with cooking tools, a weather cover to protect it from the elements, the gas can full, and is a cute size.
Tobes can’t wait to give it burl come the warmer weather, we’ll have ourselves a party!

We got some camp gear – slowly but surely building up the pile of junk required for a good camping experience – and one of our acquisitions was a new cast iron frypan. I decided to give it a whirl the day before we went, and I fried up some eggs.
Wow this brought back memories of growing up when we only used cast iron. I had forgotten how crusty the pan gets unless you add at least 4 tablespoons of butter before dropping the hapless embryo in.
I’ll add that it was tons of fun in a nostalgic way.
