This is my first attempt actually using the My Maps feature in Google.

It’s a polygon around a bike trial, plus a little bike icon to show what goes on in that polygon.

To see it, click here.

I don’t know how to get it to come up through google search or anything, even when I select show me user generated content. I wonder if it has to propagate a little?

Corolla vs Civic

The most interesting thing, to me, about this interactive map, was under ‘most popular purchased car.’ I’m going to theorise that Civic won out in Virginia and California due to its large Hispanish population.  The other interesting thing is that there’s still a distinction between foreign and domestic cars, even though many of the ‘foreign’ auto makers have factories and plants on domestic soil, and employ Americans.

.. or just for your inner grapher, your inner graphic artist, your inner graphic design geek, or, if none of those apply, this one will: your inner cart.

For some reason this re-imagining of the interstate highway system just appeals to me on so many levels. I think it’s the density of information in one picture, clearly presented, uncluttered and easy to understand.
